For obvious reasons, if KU basketball wins Friday evening and moves on to the Elite 8, the AAL meeting scheduled for Sunday at 7PM will be cancelled given that the Sunday game is scheduled to begin at 6 PM. We will update the info Friday evening, just to make certain there is no confusion. If KU loses, the meeting and observing will go on as planned.

PUBLIC OBSERVING (weather permitting)

~8:15  PM Sunday
                                               March 25

Regular Public Observing at the Baker Wetlands Discovery Center takes place after the monthly meetings on the dates listed above.
The Facebook page for the Discovery Center can be accessed here.

In addition to telescopes set up by AAL members, we will be utilizing the 14" scope permanently housed at the Discovery Center.  Come join the fun and enjoy the dark(er) skies south of town.  A map of the Discovery Center location is below.

Monthly Meetings of the AAL during the school year are held on the same nights as the Sunday Public Observing Sessions, at the Baker Wetlands Discovery Center. The meetings will begin at 7PM and finish in time to allow all attendees to take part in the open observing.  Meetings will take place irrespective of the weather conditions.
